Kerry Williams was excited when she found out she had earned her first Good Samaritan Bonus in June, but that excitement reached a higher level when she hand-delivered the check to the Chardon Food Cupboard in Chardon, Ohio.
The day Williams delivered the check, she learned that 21 people were fed that day and also were given food to take home with them.
"Their cupboards were low with food," Williams said of Chardon Food Cupboard. "They wanted me to be sure to thank The Alliance for offering them this wonderful gift. I can't wait to get the next one. I already have another good cause in mind. I'm so thankful (NAA President and CEO) Andy (Albright) and The Alliance does this on our behalf."
Chardon Food Cupboard's goal is to provide food to people in need in the Chardon community.
