The Alliance nets $13,300 for charity in April

Members of The Alliance scored $13,300 for charity in the month of April on the strength of 75 agents earning GSB checks for $100 to $350 each.

A total of 26 agents selected Tim Goad Ministries as their GSB recipient, while other charities included local churches, schools and programs that help prevent hunger, provide care for women and children and relief to those in need in other countries.

Some of the highlights from this month's charities are:

Dolney Compassionate Center, Inc.

Minerve and Robespierre Prophil appreciate the work this non-profit organization does in providing humanitarian assistance to improverished people. The group partners with churches and community leaders also to bring medical and dental care to those affected by extreme poverty.

Adam Johnson feels strongly about this urban outreach program and trusts hi GSB will help victims overcome their limiting walls by finding their needs met at this facility. Adam is among a select group of agents with The Alliance that continually earns GSB for Source MN on a monthly basis.

Transcendental Meditation for Women

Martha Batorski contributed her GSB to this non-profit organization that teaches evidence-based techniques for inner peace and wellness.

Fight Ministries

This outreach program in Florida supports a safe house in the Dominican Republic for individuals or families to heal from the trauma of human trafficking. Kristina and Les Gustin's GSB will be used well by this charity.

Bethesda Church

Marvin and Rachel Osuna pledged their support to this church in Reno, NV with a motto of "Pursuing Christ. Loving People."

Hope Children's Home

Ben Ortiz contributed his GSB to a cause that has cared for over 5,000 abandoned, abused, neglected and orphaned children from newborn to 18 years.

Medical Relief International

Joe and Tawnee Walker pledged their GSB to the Medical Relief Center to provide Alternative Medicine and Health Practitioners in their area.

Beacon Baptist Church

Ryan Sauls contributed his GSB to this church located in Raleigh, NC where members are encouraged to connect, grow, serve and go.

Andrea Ferara Fund

Gustavo Teran put his GSB to good use in contributing to Andrea, a local child with multiple needs. She was born with cerebral palsy and is a paraplegic, which means she needs special equipment, medicines, care and a special diet.

Relay for Life of Whatcom County

Belle and Jake Crause are donating to one of the American Cancer Society's largest fundraising events. This is a charity they have donated to numerous times through the GSB program.

Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation

Mike and Anne Puleo hope their GSB will bring life changing therapies to end Type 1 Juvenile Diabetes. This cause is close to both their hearts because their son has diabetes and has to deal with it on a daily basis.

Bethlehem Place

Gil Stulting-Flores would like to see his GSB feed local residents near his home in Texas, for those who lack access to adequate food. This is a charity he has supported previously through the GSB.

Etiwanda High School Band

Jason and Tawny Carey selected this high school band with a donation of $150 to offer students equipment needed to keep the power of music going at their children's school. They have supported other musical efforts at schools near their home in California previously.

All Believers in Christ Church - Feed The Hungry

Another month meant another donation from Bob Blevins to "Feed The Hungry" campaign he supports at All Believers in Christ Church, which has a big heart to help feed people through their food drive. Blevins frequently selects this charity with his GSB checks.

The Valerie Fund

Jan Miller was able to share her GSB with a program that provides support for the comprehensive health care of children with cancer and blood disorders. Miller is a consistent supporter of The Valerie Fund.

UNC at Greensboro - Dave Johnson Scholarship

Dave and Michelle Johnson, of Raleigh, N.C., donated their GSB check to the University of North Carolina at Greensboro Dave Johnson Scholarship Fund, an annually gift the Johnsons give to a student at the school.
